Howdy! 

My name is Brady and I saw this piece by Dedra Smith of Pikidesigns while scrolling through Instagram and was captured by it. I fell in love with it and set it as my phone and computer wallpaper. After a week of staring it throughout the week I imagined what it would look like if I made the cowboy actually shoot for the stars and turned it into a little game. 

It's been a while since I did any sort of gamedev so it was a nice way to shake off some of the rust and get back into the groove of it. Everything is from the original artwork except for the bullet hole icon. The only things I had to 'make' for this was the crudely done shooting frame and the shooting stars, which I used lines from the back of the cowboy and one of the stars nearby and combined it into the shooting star. 

I had a lot of fun making this simple little game, just threw back a few beers and made it in one 4 hour session on a Tuesday night to get the idea out of my head. I showed it to Dedra and she loved it and gave it the okay to be posted publically, so here it is! I hope you like it and if you do end up giving it a try, make sure to post a screenshot your highscore!
